Citrix Password Manager Helpdesk Utility - Info - Download
- This application is designed for use with Citrix Password Manager V4.x. It is intended to be used as a help desk console for one task only - reset an Active Directory User's information in the central store. This results in the selected user being returned to an initial state. In Active Directory central stores, the user data (credentials, security questions and answers, and so on) is deleted and the user is flagged as having had their data reset.

- DEFSET is a standalone Windows GUI tool designed to manage default printer selections on a per user basis. This tool is suited to users accessing a Terminal Server/ Citrix session and is designed to retain a user's default printer choice. DEFSET allows the user to change their default printer during program execution, and writes this information to an ini file located in the users individual windows directory or location as set by the administrator via a HKLM registry key. This information is then used to remember the selected the default printer for later sessions. DEFSET also has command line options to set the location of the ini file.

- PingWiz is a command-line tool to ping devices with an IPv4 address.

This utility was written to replace the command PING.EXE currently found in the MS Windows Operating System. This utility offers an extra output feature that will be of benefit to anyone who has used PING before and needed to know the time and date associated with each ping reply. PINGWIZ displays the time and date on each line of a ping request to show the end user the exact time and date the ping responded and whether it was successful or not. This is perfect for tracing exactly when dropouts occur on a network when a continual ping trace is activated.

- PrtSrvChg is a command-line utility to assist the ease of remapping network printer paths for individual clients after a print server has been migrated to a new server, with a new name. When an administrator uses the PRINTMIG utility to move printer shares from one server to another server with a new name, and printer shares are retained, the hardest task is to search the individual users list of connected printers, and remap all printers to the new server. PRTSRVCHG makes this process easier by automatically replacing the old server name with the new one when the utility is run within a user session.

This is particularly useful for helpdesk calls where the user can quickly provide the details of their session to the helpdesk operator. - TSLoadBal is a Terminal Server Client extension that allows load balacing of Terminal Servers in a single Domain. The process balances sessions across a farm of terminal servers within a domain, applying a user load criteria to distribute the sessions evenly. This program also reconnects a client to a disconnected session based on computer name only. TSLoadBal now has an AUTO-CONNECT Feature.

This addon is currently only designed for clients running Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP (All Versions) and Windows Vista.

The current client version calculates load balancing from the client end.

This utility was written for the purpose of terminating user processes that run in a VDI or TS/ RDS session for a long period of time. Specifically, processes such as Internet Browsers, which use valuable system resources, are often left on by end users, creating system bloat. By running this tool at regular intervals, Internet Browsers that have been running for more than the prescribed time can be terminated, returning those resources back to the environment.

This utility was written for the purpose of allowing users to terminate their own frozen session/s or processes within a Terminal Services/ Citrix Environment. This in turn should reduce the requirement of helpdesk staff to complete the same task, thus freeing up resources for other matters. - TSSnapSend is a standalone Windows Application designed to take Screen shots of a user's Windows desktop, embed the image with user details, and then send the screen Shot as an attachment directly to an allocated email address via SMTP. This program is design to run in the background of user's session using specified hotkeys to capture the current state of the screen.

This utility was written for the purpose of allowing administrators or help desk operators to quickly and easily gather infomration from a user session when required. In the event of a error message appearing on a user's screen, for example, the user can just press CTRL+ALT+D and confirm that they wish to send the captured image to the specified email address. The image is then embedded with the time, date, username, servername, and where Terminal Services or Citrix is used, the client machine name and client IP address is also included within the image at the top left corner.

TSTaskman can be used as a locked down alternative for the Task Manager in Citrix or Terminal Server environments.

This utility was written for the purpose of allowing users to terminate frozen programs or processes that exist only in the Terminal Server Session of the currently logged in user. The GUI lists all the running processes in the Terminal Session of the logged on user, and does not display any other user or system processes.

This utility was written for the purpose of allowing an administrator the ability to deploy common Windows Taskbar settings for multiple users. TSTbarSet allows these settings to be implemented at anytime during a users session without the need to logoff and logback on again.

- TSWhereIs is a command-line tool to locate a user within a Domain and to display if they are using a Terminal Server or Citrix Server. This application searches all TS and Citrix Servers within a domain and if the specified user is found, the session details of that user are displayed.

This utility was written for the purpose of assisting helpdesk and administrators to find if a user has a session on a TS or Citrix server and if so, display the server name, session type, client IP, etc... A new /EXPORT switch has been added for exporting the retuned data to a CSV file.
